  1. 1. Rub the steak with pepper, thyme, garlic, and one tablespoon of olive oil. Let the spices marinate overnight.
  2. 2. Wash and clean the spring onions, but do not cut off the green tops completely. Heat one tablespoon of olive oil in a pan and fry the onions in it until golden brown, turning them frequently. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. 3. Remove the onions from the pan and arrange them on a plate. Fry the steak in the hot pan for two to four minutes on each side (depending on whether you prefer it bloody, pink, or well-done). Season with salt, cut it into thick slices, and place it on top of the onions. Serve immediately.
