  1. 1. Wash the asparagus thoroughly.
  2. 2. Cut off the woody bottom ends of the stalks.
  3. 3. Peel the bottom third of each asparagus stalk.
  4. 4. Cut the asparagus into diagonal pieces.
  5. 5. Heat the oil in a non-stick pan slightly.
  6. 6. Fry the asparagus in it for about 8 minutes.
  7. 7. Turn the asparagus frequently while doing so.
  8. 8. Fry the asparagus until golden brown all over.
  9. 9. Season the asparagus with salt and pepper.
  10. 10. Squeeze the half lime.
  11. 11. Put the lime juice into a small bowl.
