🍽️ Steamed Leek with a Sherry Twist

Ingredients
- 2 stalks leek
- 1 small onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp white wine
- 1 tbsp sherry
- sea salt
- pepper
- 1 white onion
Instructions
- 1. Thoroughly wash the leek under running water.
- 2. Cut off the hard root end and the green tops.
- 3. Cut the leek into pieces about 10 centimeters long.
- 4. Pour 125 milliliters of water into the bottom of a pressure cooker.
- 5. Place a steamer basket into the pot.
- 6. Distribute the leek evenly in the steamer basket.
- 7. Steam the leek for 5 minutes.
- 8. Remove the pot from the heat source.
- 9. Lift the leek out of the pot.
- 10. Place the leek into a serving dish.
- 11. Mix oil, wine, sherry, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
- 12. Pour the marinade over the warm leek.
- 13. Cover the dish.
- 14. Let the leek absorb the flavors for 10 minutes.
- 15. Peel an onion just before serving.
- 16. Finely chop the onion.
- 17. Sprinkle the onion over the leek.
