🍽️ Tender Leek Shrimp Skewers

Ingredients
- 4 fresh large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 1 stalk leek (cleaned and washed)
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
- juice of one lime
- 2 tbsp dry sherry
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 tsp freshly grated ginger
- 3 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 lime (sliced)
Instructions
- 1. Cut the leek into pieces approximately 15 cm long.
- 2. Make a lengthwise cut to the middle to obtain four leaves.
- 3. Blanch the leaves briefly in boiling salted water (cook briefly in boiling water).
- 4. Shock them immediately in ice-cold water.
- 5. Let the leaves drain well.
- 6. Mix pressed garlic with ginger, parsley, honey, lemon juice, sherry, and two tablespoons of sesame oil.
- 7. Season the marinade with salt and pepper.
- 8. Place the shrimp in the marinade.
- 9. Mix everything well.
- 10. Let the shrimp marinate for about 20 minutes.
- 11. Remove the shrimp from the marinade.
- 12. Wrap each shrimp piece with a leek leaf.
- 13. Secure each skewer with a wooden skewer.
- 14. Heat the remaining oil in the pan.
- 15. Slowly sauté the shrimp all around for about 5 minutes.
- 16. Add the remaining marinade.
- 17. Heat the sauce briefly.
- 18. Remove the skewers from the pan.
- 19. Serve the skewers garnished on lime slices.
