  1. 1. Cut the apricots into large pieces.
  2. 2. Remove fat, skin, and sinew from the lamb meat.
  3. 3. Cut the meat into cubes.
  4. 4. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan.
  5. 5. Fry the lamb cubes in batches until browned on all sides.
  6. 6. Season the meat with salt, pepper, cinnamon, and cumin.
  7. 7. Pour in the broth.
  8. 8. Add the apricots.
  9. 9. Let everything simmer for approx. 20 minutes.
  10. 10. Cook the rice in salted water according to package instructions until al dente.
  11. 11. Heat the remaining oil in a separate pan.
  12. 12. Sauté the turmeric in the oil briefly.
  13. 13. Stir in the cooked rice.
  14. 14. Fry the rice for approx. 5 minutes.
  15. 15. Add the lamb meat with the apricots to the rice.
  16. 16. Gently mix everything together.
  17. 17. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
  18. 18. Plate the dish.
  19. 19. Sprinkle with parsley.
