  1. 1. Peel the garlic and chop it finely.
  2. 2. Mix all the marinade ingredients together in a bowl.
  3. 3. Rinse the lamb chops under running water.
  4. 4. Pat the chops dry with kitchen paper.
  5. 5. Place the lamb chops into the marinade.
  6. 6. Cover the bowl and let the meat marinate in the fridge for two hours.
  7. 7. Turn the lamb chops once during the marinating time.
  8. 8. Finely chop the chili pepper.
  9. 9. Finely chop the shallots.
  10. 10. Mix the chili, shallots, thyme, and oil into a paste.
  11. 11. Season the oil-onion mixture with salt and pepper.
  12. 12. Peel the potatoes.
  13. 13. Place the peeled potatoes in a bowl.
  14. 14. Cover the potatoes with the oil-onion mixture.
  15. 15. Toss the potatoes thoroughly with the marinade.
  16. 16. Remove the corn cobs from their husks.
  17. 17. Clean the corn cobs and remove any remaining silk.
  18. 18. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil.
  19. 19. Add the corn cobs to the boiling water.
  20. 20. Boil the corn for about ten minutes (blanching).
  21. 21. Preheat the grill to the desired temperature.
  22. 22. Place the marinated potatoes on a piece of aluminum foil.
  23. 23. Place the foil with the potatoes onto the hot grill.
  24. 24. Heat the potatoes on the grill and let them roast slightly.
  25. 25. Cut the boiled corn cobs in half crosswise.
  26. 26. Melt some butter until liquid.
  27. 27. Brush the corn pieces with the melted butter.
  28. 28. Season the corn with salt and pepper.
  29. 29. Place the corn on the grill.
  30. 30. Grill the corn for a few minutes.
  31. 31. Let the marinated chops drain off excess marinade.
  32. 32. Place the lamb chops on the hot grill.
  33. 33. Grill the chops for three to four minutes on the first side.
  34. 34. Turn the chops and grill the second side for another three to four minutes.
  35. 35. Plate the finished chops, potatoes, and corn.
