🍽️ Grilled Lamb Leg with Herb Marinade

Ingredients
- 40 g flat-leaf parsley
- 40 g cilantro
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 shallot
- 20 g ginger
- 6 tbsp olive oil
- 4 small lamb legs (approx. 350 g each, with bone)
- salt
- pepper (freshly ground)
Instructions
- 1. Wash the parsley and coriander thoroughly.
- 2. Shake the herbs dry.
- 3. Strip the leaves from the stems.
- 4. Finely chop the herbs.
- 5. Peel the garlic cloves.
- 6. Peel the shallot.
- 7. Peel the ginger.
- 8. Finely chop the garlic, shallot, and ginger.
- 9. Mix the chopped ingredients with the olive oil.
- 10. Let the marinade sit covered in the refrigerator for at least one hour.
- 11. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius fan-assisted.
- 12. Wash the lamb legs.
- 13. Pat the lamb legs dry.
- 14. Season the legs with pepper.
- 15. Brush the legs with some of the prepared marinade.
- 16. Place the legs in a roasting pan.
- 17. Roast the legs in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes.
- 18. Turn the legs during roasting.
- 19. After 30 minutes, brush the legs with the remaining marinade and herbs.
- 20. Continue roasting for another 5 to 10 minutes.
- 21. Remove the legs from the oven.
- 22. Season the legs with salt.
- 23. Serve the legs on hot plates.
