🍽️ Lamb meatballs with yogurt dip

Ingredients
- 300 g ground lamb
- 1 shallot
- 3 sprigs parsley
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 0.5 tsp salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 1 pinch cinnamon
- 3 tbsp oil
- 300 g yogurt
- 1 garlic clove
- 3 sprigs mint
- salt
Instructions
- 1. Place the minced meat into a large bowl.
- 2. Peel the shallot and dice it into very small cubes.
- 3. Wash the parsley and pat it dry with a kitchen towel.
- 4. Finely chop the parsley leaves.
- 5. Add the diced shallot and chopped parsley to the meat.
- 6. Add the oregano and the lemon juice.
- 7. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
- 8. Mix all ingredients thoroughly with your hands or a spoon.
- 9. Shape the mixture into twelve small, equal-sized balls.
- 10. Heat two tablespoons of oil in a frying pan.
- 11. Fry the meatballs in the pan until golden brown and cooked through on all sides.
- 12. Put the yogurt and the remaining oil into a small bowl.
- 13. Stir the yogurt and oil until smooth.
- 14. Peel the garlic and chop it finely.
- 15. Add the chopped garlic to the yogurt mixture.
- 16. Wash the mint and pat it dry.
- 17. Pluck the mint leaves from the stems and chop them finely.
- 18. Stir the chopped mint into the yogurt sauce.
- 19. Finally season the sauce with salt and pepper.
- 20. Serve the warm meatballs together with the yogurt mint sauce.
