  1. 1. Place the minced meat into a large bowl.
  2. 2. Peel the shallot and dice it into very small cubes.
  3. 3. Wash the parsley and pat it dry with a kitchen towel.
  4. 4. Finely chop the parsley leaves.
  5. 5. Add the diced shallot and chopped parsley to the meat.
  6. 6. Add the oregano and the lemon juice.
  7. 7. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
  8. 8. Mix all ingredients thoroughly with your hands or a spoon.
  9. 9. Shape the mixture into twelve small, equal-sized balls.
  10. 10. Heat two tablespoons of oil in a frying pan.
  11. 11. Fry the meatballs in the pan until golden brown and cooked through on all sides.
  12. 12. Put the yogurt and the remaining oil into a small bowl.
  13. 13. Stir the yogurt and oil until smooth.
  14. 14. Peel the garlic and chop it finely.
  15. 15. Add the chopped garlic to the yogurt mixture.
  16. 16. Wash the mint and pat it dry.
  17. 17. Pluck the mint leaves from the stems and chop them finely.
  18. 18. Stir the chopped mint into the yogurt sauce.
  19. 19. Finally season the sauce with salt and pepper.
  20. 20. Serve the warm meatballs together with the yogurt mint sauce.
