🍽️ Juicy Lamb and Pepper Skewers from the Grill

Ingredients
- 900 g lamb shoulder
- 300 g whole milk yogurt
- 3 garlic cloves (peeled and crushed)
- pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 bell peppers (green)
- 2 bell peppers (red)
- 6 small blue onions
Instructions
- 1. Remove all tough sinews from the lamb meat.
- 2. Leave the fat on the meat to keep it juicy while cooking.
- 3. Cut the meat into cubes approximately three centimeters in size.
- 4. Mix yogurt, garlic, salt, cinnamon, and pepper in a bowl.
- 5. Add the meat cubes to the marinade and mix everything well.
- 6. Cover the bowl.
- 7. Let the meat marinate in the refrigerator overnight.
- 8. Wash the peppers thoroughly.
- 9. Remove the stem and the inside of the peppers.
- 10. Halve the peppers.
- 11. Remove the white seeds and the white membrane.
- 12. Cut the peppers into bite-sized pieces.
- 13. Peel the onions.
- 14. Quarter the onions.
- 15. Thread meat cubes, onion pieces, and pepper pieces alternately onto wooden skewers.
- 16. Grill the skewers for about 8 to 10 minutes.
- 17. Turn the skewers occasionally so they cook evenly.
- 18. Arrange the skewers on plates.
- 19. Serve the skewers with flatbread.
