🍽️ Marinated Lamb Skewers with Fresh Vegetables

Ingredients
- 800 g lamb meat (leg)
- 2 sprigs thyme
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- salt
- pepper
- 12 cherry tomatoes
- 6 small shallots
- 2 green bell peppers
- 1 organic lemon
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the lamb meat under cold water.
- 2. Pat the meat dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Cut the lamb meat into bite-sized cubes.
- 4. Wash the thyme sprigs under running water.
- 5. Shake the sprigs dry.
- 6. Pluck the small thyme leaves from the stems.
- 7. Put the olive oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and thyme leaves into a bowl.
- 8. Stir the ingredients in the bowl well.
- 9. Place the meat in the marinade and turn it so it is covered everywhere.
- 10. Cover the bowl.
- 11. Let the meat marinate in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 hours.
- 12. Wash the tomatoes under running water.
- 13. Peel the shallots.
- 14. Halve the shallots.
- 15. Wash the bell peppers under running water.
- 16. Remove the inside of the bell peppers (core).
- 17. Cut the bell peppers into bite-sized pieces.
- 18. Take the meat out of the marinade.
- 19. Let the meat drip dry for a moment.
- 20. Thread alternating pieces of meat and vegetables onto the skewers.
- 21. Preheat the grill.
- 22. Place the skewers on the hot grill.
- 23. Grill the skewers for 10 to 15 minutes.
- 24. Brush the skewers repeatedly with the remaining marinade while grilling.
- 25. Wash the lemon under hot water.
- 26. Pat the lemon dry.
- 27. Cut the lemon into wedges.
- 28. Place the finished skewers on four plates.
- 29. Garnish the plates with the lemon wedges.
