Ingredients
- 600 g Wild salmon fillet
- 100 g Toast bread
- 150 ml Coconut milk
- 4 Spring onions
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 2 Egg yolks
- 1 piece fresh ginger (3 cm)
- 1 tbsp Dill (chopped)
- Salt
- Pepper
- 500 ml Vegetable oil
- Lemon wedges (for garnishing)
- Dill (for garnishing)
- Mixed salad (for serving)
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the fish fillet under cold water.
- 2. Pat the fish completely dry with kitchen paper.
- 3. Chop the fish into small pieces.
- 4. Clean the spring onions and wash them.
- 5. Chop the spring onions finely.
- 6. Peel the ginger.
- 7. Finely chop the ginger.
- 8. Heat the oil in a pan.
- 9. Sauté the spring onions and ginger briefly in the pan.
- 10. Heat the coconut milk.
- 11. Soak the toast bread in the warm coconut milk.
- 12. Squeeze the soaked bread well.
- 13. Mix the squeezed bread with the chopped fish.
- 14. Fold in the sautéed spring onions and ginger.
- 15. Add the egg yolk to the mixture.
- 16. Add the dill to the mixture.
- 17. Mix everything well until a homogeneous mixture forms.
- 18. Season the mixture with salt.
- 19. Season the mixture with pepper.
- 20. Wet your hands.
- 21. Form eight patties from the mixture.
- 22. Heat the oil in a pot or in the deep fryer.
- 23. Fry the patties golden brown on all sides.
- 24. The frying time is about 3 to 5 minutes.
- 25. Garnish the finished patties with lemon wedges.
- 26. Garnish the finished patties with dill.
- 27. Plate the patties.
- 28. Serve with a mixed salad.
- 29. Serve the dish.
