🍽️ Grilled Salmon Steak with Corn Salad Dressing

Ingredients
- 4 salmon cutlets
- olive oil
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 200 g corn salad
- 1 handful fresh herbs (e. g. dill and parsley)
- 3 tbsp white balsamic vinegar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp honey
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the salmon under cold water.
- 2. Pat the fish completely dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Brush the salmon steak all over with oil.
- 4. Season the fish with salt and pepper.
- 5. Preheat the grill to a medium-low heat setting.
- 6. Place the salmon on the grill grate.
- 7. Grill the fish for approx. 12 minutes over slow heat.
- 8. Turn the salmon occasionally during cooking.
- 9. Wash the corn salad under running water.
- 10. Remove any thick stems or wilted leaves from the salad.
- 11. Dry the salad thoroughly, for example in a salad spinner.
- 12. Arrange the finished salad on the plates.
- 13. Get the fresh herbs from your pantry.
- 14. Mix the herbs with the vinegar in a small bowl.
- 15. Add the lemon juice to the herb-vinegar mixture.
- 16. Stir the honey into the liquid.
- 17. Add 4 to 5 tablespoons of oil.
- 18. Season the dressing with salt and pepper to taste.
- 19. Place the grilled salmon steak on top of the salad bed.
- 20. Serve the dressing in a separate bowl on the side.
