  1. 1. Rinse the salmon under cold water.
  2. 2. Pat the fish completely dry with a kitchen towel.
  3. 3. Brush the salmon steak all over with oil.
  4. 4. Season the fish with salt and pepper.
  5. 5. Preheat the grill to a medium-low heat setting.
  6. 6. Place the salmon on the grill grate.
  7. 7. Grill the fish for approx. 12 minutes over slow heat.
  8. 8. Turn the salmon occasionally during cooking.
  9. 9. Wash the corn salad under running water.
  10. 10. Remove any thick stems or wilted leaves from the salad.
  11. 11. Dry the salad thoroughly, for example in a salad spinner.
  12. 12. Arrange the finished salad on the plates.
  13. 13. Get the fresh herbs from your pantry.
  14. 14. Mix the herbs with the vinegar in a small bowl.
  15. 15. Add the lemon juice to the herb-vinegar mixture.
  16. 16. Stir the honey into the liquid.
  17. 17. Add 4 to 5 tablespoons of oil.
  18. 18. Season the dressing with salt and pepper to taste.
  19. 19. Place the grilled salmon steak on top of the salad bed.
  20. 20. Serve the dressing in a separate bowl on the side.
