🍽️ Salmon Patties with Leek Cream

Ingredients
- 30 g onions (1 small onion)
- 600 g salmon fillet
- 4 sprigs dill
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp mustard
- 50 g whole wheat breadcrumbs (4 tbsp)
- salt
- pepper
- 2 stalks leek
- 2 tbsp rapeseed oil
- 50 g cream cheese (45% fat in dry matter)
- 0.25 tsp ground cumin
- 0.25 tsp dried marjoram
Instructions
- 1. Peel the onion and chop it very finely.
- 2. Rinse the salmon fillet and cut it into small pieces.
- 3. Chop the salmon pieces very finely as well.
- 4. Wash the dill and chop it.
- 5. Add the salmon, onion, half of the dill, the egg, the mustard, and the breadcrumbs to a bowl.
- 6. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
- 7. Mix everything well until you have a moldable mixture.
- 8. Divide the mixture into about 8 to 12 patties.
- 9. Heat one tablespoon of oil in a large pan.
- 10. Fry the patties over medium heat for about 5 minutes on the first side.
- 11. Fry them for another 5 minutes on the second side.
- 12. Clean the leek and wash it thoroughly.
- 13. Cut the leek into rings.
- 14. Heat the remaining oil in a separate pan.
- 15. Sauté the leek over medium heat for 5 minutes.
- 16. Stir in cream cheese and 3 to 4 tablespoons of water.
- 17. Continue stirring until the sauce is creamy.
- 18. Season the leek vegetables with salt, pepper, cumin, and marjoram.
- 19. Place the salmon patties on top of the leek vegetables.
- 20. Decorate the dish with the remaining dill.
