  8. 8. Wash the spinach thoroughly.
  9. 9. Remove any thick stems or damaged leaves from the spinach.
  10. 10. Cook the spinach for 1 minute in boiling salted water.
  11. 11. Shock the spinach immediately to stop the cooking process.
  12. 12. Let the spinach drain well.
  13. 13. Squeeze the spinach firmly to remove excess liquid.
  14. 14. Finely chop the squeezed spinach.
  15. 15. Peel the garlic clove.
