  1. 1. Rinse the salmon under cold water and pat it dry with a kitchen towel.
  2. 2. Cut the salmon into bite-sized cubes.
  3. 3. Wash the tomatoes and remove the stem end if necessary.
  4. 4. Wash the bell peppers, remove the inside, and cut them into pieces.
  5. 5. Wash the celery, clean it, and cut it into pieces as well.
  6. 6. Thread the salmon and vegetables alternately onto 8 wooden skewers.
  7. 7. Peel the garlic and chop it finely.
  8. 8. Wash the basil, shake it dry, and pluck off the leaves.
  9. 9. Finely chop the basil leaves.
  10. 10. Mix the chopped garlic, basil, lemon zest, lemon juice, and oil in a bowl.
  11. 11. Season the marinade with salt and pepper.
  12. 12. Brush the skewers all over with the marinade.
  13. 13. Place the skewers on the hot grill.
  14. 14. Grill the skewers for about 8 minutes, turning them regularly and brushing them with the marinade in between.
