  1. 1. Rinse the salmon under cold water and pat it dry with kitchen paper.
  2. 2. Wash the lemon thoroughly with hot water, dry it, and finely grate the zest.
  3. 3. Squeeze out the juice.
  4. 4. Mix half of the lemon juice with the lemon zest, the honey, the paprika powder, the salt, and the pepper.
  5. 5. Place the salmon in this marinade and let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  6. 6. Heat the olive oil in a pan.
  7. 7. Fry the salmon in it over medium heat for about 3 to 4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  8. 8. Remove the salmon from the heat and let it cool slightly.
  9. 9. Flake the cooled salmon into small pieces.
  10. 10. Toast the bread slices in the toaster.
  11. 11. Halve the avocado and remove the pit.
  12. 12. Scoop out the flesh of the avocado.
  13. 13. Mash the avocado flesh roughly in a bowl with a fork.
  14. 14. Remove the stem from the tomato.
  15. 15. Wash the tomato and pat it dry.
  16. 16. Cut the tomato into small cubes.
  17. 17. Peel the onion and halve it.
  18. 18. Chop the onion finely.
  19. 19. Mix the tomato cubes, the onions, and the avocado.
  20. 20. Season the mixture with lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  21. 21. Wash the lettuce and shake it dry.
  22. 22. Tear the lettuce into bite-sized pieces.
  23. 23. Spread two toast slices with the avocado mixture.
  24. 24. Top the toast slices with the salmon and romaine lettuce.
  25. 25. Cover each topped toast slice with a second toast slice.
  26. 26. Press the sandwiches down lightly.
  27. 27. Cut the sandwiches diagonally in half.
