🍽️ Grilled Salmon with Spicy Tomato Sauce

Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets (160 g each)
- 2 tbsp oil
- Tomato Relish
- 500 g tomatoes
- 2 onions
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1 chili pepper
- 4 tbsp oil
- 0.125 l meat broth
- 2 tbsp vinegar
- salt
- pepper (freshly ground)
Instructions
- 1. Pour boiling water over the tomatoes.
- 2. Immediately shock the tomatoes with cold water.
- 3. Peel the skin off the tomatoes.
- 4. Halve the tomatoes and remove the core.
- 5. Dice the tomato flesh into fine cubes.
- 6. Peel the onions and garlic.
- 7. Finely chop the onions and garlic.
- 8. Finely chop the fresh herbs.
- 9. Wash the chili pepper.
- 10. Halve the chili pepper and remove the seeds.
- 11. Dice the chili into fine cubes.
- 12. Heat oil in a pan.
- 13. Sauté the onions, chili, sugar, and garlic in the hot oil.
- 14. Add the diced tomatoes.
- 15. Cook the tomatoes briefly.
- 16. Pour in the meat broth.
- 17. Pour in the vinegar.
- 18. Simmer the sauce until it thickens.
- 19. Season the sauce with salt and pepper.
- 20. Let the sauce cool down.
- 21. Wash the salmon fillets.
- 22. Pat the fillets dry with a kitchen towel.
- 23. Season the salmon with salt and pepper.
- 24. Drizzle olive oil over the salmon.
- 25. Place the salmon on the grill or in a grill pan.
- 26. Grill the salmon from the first side for about 3 to 4 minutes.
- 27. Turn the salmon.
- 28. Grill the salmon from the second side for another 3 to 4 minutes.
- 29. Serve the salmon with grilled corn on the cob as desired.
