Ingredients
- 1 kg salmon fillet
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 3 tbsp soybean oil
- 2 tsp sesame seeds
- 1 small head lettuce
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the salmon under cold running water.
- 2. Pat the fish completely dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Cut the fillet across into eight evenly thick pieces.
- 4. Season all salmon pieces generously with salt.
- 5. Add freshly ground pepper.
- 6. Carefully separate the head lettuce into individual leaves.
- 7. Wash the leaves thoroughly under running water.
- 8. Remove hard stems and wilted parts.
- 9. Dry the salad using a salad spinner or pat it dry.
- 10. Cut the greens into thin strips.
- 11. Distribute the lettuce strips evenly across four plates.
- 12. Heat oil in a large pan.
- 13. Fry the salmon pieces for two to three minutes per side.
- 14. Remove the cooked fish from the pan.
- 15. Place the salmon pieces on the prepared lettuce.
- 16. Toast the sesame seeds briefly in the remaining hot oil.
- 17. Drizzle the sesame seeds over the salmon slices along with a little oil.
