  3. 3. Divide the fillets into four equal pieces.
  4. 4. Whisk oil, vinegar, and honey together in a small bowl.
  5. 5. Season the marinade with salt and pepper.
  6. 6. Coat the salmon pieces thoroughly with the marinade.
  7. 7. Place the fish in a container and seal it.
  8. 8. Place the container in the refrigerator for two hours.
  9. 9. Wash the spring onions under running water.
  10. 10. Remove the dry ends of the spring onions.
  11. 11. Shake the spring onions dry.
  12. 12. Slice the spring onions diagonally into thin rings.
  13. 13. Heat butter in a frying pan.
  14. 14. Sear the salmon on all sides over high heat.
  15. 15. Reduce the heat to a medium setting.
  16. 16. Let the fish cook for about ten minutes.
  17. 17. Brush the fish with the marinade repeatedly during the cooking process.
  18. 18. Add the spring onions to the pan shortly before the end of the cooking time.
  19. 19. Sauté the spring onions briefly with the fish.
