🍽️ Quick Salmon with Spicy Bean Yogurt Sauce

Ingredients
- 4 pieces salmon fillet (approx. 160 g each)
- 1 red onion
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 0.5 red chili pepper
- 400 g black beans (cooked, or canned)
- 2 garlic cloves
- 300 g yogurt
- Juice of one lemon
- 2 tbsp chopped cilantro
- salt
Instructions
- 1. Peel the onion and dice it into small cubes.
- 2. Wash the chili pepper and cut it lengthwise.
- 3. Remove the seeds and the white inner membrane from the chili.
- 4. Dice the deseeded chili finely.
- 5. Peel the garlic and chop it finely.
- 6. Rinse the beans briefly under cold water.
- 7. Let the beans drain well.
- 8. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a pan.
- 9. Sauté the onion cubes and garlic in the oil.
- 10. Add the diced chili and beans to the pan.
- 11. Cook the mixture for another 2 to 3 minutes.
- 12. Stir the yogurt and lemon juice into the beans.
- 13. Season the sauce with salt.
- 14. Gently fold in the chopped coriander leaves.
- 15. Season the fish pieces with salt.
- 16. Heat the remaining oil in a grill pan.
- 17. Fry the salmon for about 3 minutes on the first side.
- 18. Turn the salmon and fry it for another 3 minutes.
- 19. Place the cooked salmon on the plates.
- 20. Add the bean yogurt sauce.
- 21. Serve the dish immediately.
