🍽️ Quick Beef Cubes with Tomatoes and Rice

Ingredients
- 4 Rumpsteaks (or sirloin steaks approx. 200 g)
- 240 g Basmati rice
- 3 Tomatoes
- 2 Garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp fresh Oregano
- Olive oil (cold-pressed)
- Chili powder
- Salt
Instructions
- 1. Lightly pound the meat flat with a meat mallet.
- 2. Wash the tomatoes and pour boiling water over them briefly.
- 3. Peel the skin off the tomatoes.
- 4. Cut the tomatoes in half and remove the core.
- 5. Cut the tomato flesh into small cubes.
- 6. Peel the garlic cloves and chop them very finely.
- 7. Cook the rice according to the package instructions until it is al dente.
- 8. Heat 1 to 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan.
- 9. Fry the steaks for a maximum of 1.5 minutes on each side.
- 10. Ensure that the meat remains raw inside.
- 11. Cut the fried meat into cubes.
- 12. Catch the released meat juice in a small container.
- 13. Remove the meat cubes from the pan and keep them warm.
- 14. Add the tomato cubes, the chopped garlic, and 2 tablespoons of oregano to the hot pan.
- 15. Sauté the ingredients over high heat for about 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
- 16. Return the meat cubes along with the collected juice to the pan.
- 17. Continue to sauté everything for another 1 minute.
- 18. Season the dish with salt and chili to taste.
- 19. Fill the rice into glasses.
- 20. Place the beef mixture on top of the rice.
