🍽️ Turmeric Bulgur with Chard

Ingredients
- 300 g Bulgur
- 0.5 Lemon (juice)
- 600 ml Vegetable broth
- 1 tsp Turmeric
- 60 g dried tomatoes in oil
- 2 Chili peppers
- 600 g Chard
- 2 Onions
- 2 tbsp Butter
- Salt
- Pepper (from the mill)
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 2 tbsp White wine vinegar
Instructions
- 1. Put the bulgur, lemon juice, vegetable broth, and turmeric powder into a pot.
- 2. Bring the mixture to a boil.
- 3. Turn off the heat.
- 4. Cover the pot.
- 5. Let the bulgur swell for 15 to 20 minutes.
- 6. Drain the dried tomatoes.
- 7. Chop the dried tomatoes finely.
- 8. Wash the chili peppers.
- 9. Halve the chili peppers.
- 10. Remove the seeds from the chili peppers.
- 11. Cut the chili peppers into fine cubes.
- 12. Wash the chard.
- 13. Cut the chard into fine strips.
- 14. Peel the onions.
- 15. Cut the onions into fine strips.
- 16. Melt the butter in a frying pan.
- 17. Sauté the chard and onions in the butter.
- 18. Add the chili peppers.
- 19. Pour in 3 tablespoons of water.
- 20. Cover the pot.
- 21. Simmer the vegetables over low heat for 3 to 5 minutes.
- 22. Mix the bulgur with the sautéed vegetables.
- 23. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
- 24. Drizzle in olive oil.
- 25. Add vinegar.
- 26. Taste and adjust the seasoning.
- 27. Portion the dish into small bowls.
- 28. Serve the dish.
