  1. 1. Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions.
  2. 2. Drain the pasta well.
  3. 3. Soak the raisins in hot water for 20 minutes.
  4. 4. Drain the raisins as well.
  5. 5. Grease a baking dish generously with fat.
  6. 6. Whisk the eggs in a separate bowl.
  7. 7. Season the eggs with salt, plenty of pepper, and grated nutmeg.
  8. 8. Pour the seasoned egg mixture over the drained pasta.
  9. 9. Mix everything well so the pasta is evenly coated.
  10. 10. Fold the drained raisins into the noodle-egg mixture.
  11. 11. Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  12. 12. Bake the casserole at 150 degrees Celsius for about 1 hour.
  13. 13. Remove the casserole from the oven when an even brown crust has formed.
