  7. 7. Mix the apple into the pumpkin in a large bowl.
  8. 8. Add the flour, ground nuts, baking powder, and cinnamon to a separate bowl.
  9. 9. Combine the dry ingredients with the pumpkin and apple mixture.
  10. 10. Whisk the egg in another bowl.
  11. 11. Add the sugar, oil, vanilla sugar, and buttermilk to the egg.
  12. 12. Stir the wet ingredients thoroughly.
