  3. 3. Peel the firm flesh completely.
  4. 4. Cut the flesh into small cubes.
  5. 5. Weigh out about 800 grams of cubed pumpkin flesh.
  6. 6. Place the pumpkin cubes and orange juice in a large pot.
  7. 7. Place the pot over medium heat.
  8. 8. Place the lid on the pot.
  9. 9. Cook the pumpkin for about 15 to 20 minutes.
  10. 10. Check if the pumpkin flesh is soft.
  11. 11. Pour hot water over the kumquats briefly.
  12. 12. Slice the kumquats into thin rounds.
  13. 13. Add the kumquats to the pumpkin after 5 minutes of cooking.
  14. 14. Puree the entire mixture until smooth.
  15. 15. Stir the sugar and cinnamon into the pumpkin mixture.
  16. 16. Boil the mixture for about 4 minutes until bubbling.
  17. 17. Stir constantly while boiling.

  19. 19. Fill the hot jam into prepared jars to the brim.

  21. 21. Turn the jars upside down for about 10 minutes.

  23. 23. Decorate the jars as you like with cinnamon, Christmas baubles, and velvet ribbons.
