🍽️ Fluffy Pumpkin Seed Bread Without Kneading

Ingredients
- 0.5 tsp dried yeast
- 90 g wheat flour (Type 550)
- 210 g whole wheat flour
- 1 tbsp soft butter
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 60 g pumpkin seeds
- 1 egg yolk (for brushing)
- 3 tbsp pumpkin seeds (for sprinkling)
Instructions
- 1. Dissolve the yeast in 220 ml of lukewarm water.
- 2. Add both types of flour, the butter, the sugar, the salt, and the pumpkin seeds.
- 3. Stir everything together into a thick dough.
- 4. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for approx. 2 hours.
- 5. Transfer the dough into a lined loaf pan.
- 6. Cover the pan and let the dough rise for approx. 75 minutes.
- 7. Preheat the oven to 180 °C with top and bottom heat.
- 8. Brush the egg yolk over the surface of the dough.
- 9. Sprinkle more pumpkin seeds on top.
- 10. Bake the bread in the oven for approx. 55 minutes.
