  1. 1. Cut the pumpkin flesh into small pieces. Sauté them in butter, add 50 milliliters of water, and let them simmer until soft in a covered pot.
  2. 2. Meanwhile, mix the yeast in a small bowl with %0 milliliters of lukewarm water, one teaspoon of sugar, and one tablespoon of flour. Lightly dust the mixture with flour and let the pre-dough rise for 15 minutes.
  3. 3. Put the remaining flour into a large bowl.
  4. 4. Puree the pumpkin finely, season it with cinnamon and ginger, and add it to the flour. Add the pre-dough and knead everything well. Lightly dust the mixture with flour, cover it with a cloth, and let it rise for about 45 minutes.
  5. 5. Place the dough on a floured work surface. Knead in three quarters of the pumpkin seeds and shape the dough into a loaf. Place it on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, brush it with water, and let it rise again for about 60 minutes.
  6. 6. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Fill an ovenproof dish with hot water and place it in the oven. Slide the bread into the oven and bake it for about 35 to 40 minutes.
