  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
  2. 2. Melt the butter in a small pot or in the microwave.
  3. 3. Peel the pumpkin and cut it in half.
  4. 4. Remove the inside including the seeds.
  5. 5. Cut the flesh into bite-sized cubes.
  6. 6. Wash the chives and dry them thoroughly.
  7. 7. Cut the chives into fine rings.
  8. 8. Place the pumpkin pieces on a greased baking sheet.
  9. 9. Pour the melted butter over the pumpkin.
  10. 10. Sprinkle cinnamon and sea salt over it.
  11. 11. Place the tray in the preheated oven.
  12. 12. Roast the pumpkin for 25 to 30 minutes.
  13. 13. Turn the pieces once halfway through the cooking time.
  14. 14. Remove the pumpkin from the oven.
  15. 15. Arrange the pieces in small bowls.
  16. 16. Sprinkle them with the chive rings.
  17. 17. Serve the dish warm.
