  1. 1. Prepare a large pot.
  2. 2. Cut the pumpkin flesh into small cubes.
  3. 3. Peel the apples.
  4. 4. Cut the apples into quarters.
  5. 5. Remove the core from the apple quarters.
  6. 6. Dice the cored apple quarters.
  7. 7. Finely grate the lemon zest.
  8. 8. Squeeze the juice from the lemons.
  9. 9. Mix the pumpkin flesh with the lemon juice and zest.
  10. 10. Add the spices to the pumpkin mixture.
  11. 11. Place the spiced pumpkin mixture into the large pot.
  12. 12. Cook the pumpkin for about 8 minutes until it is almost soft.
  13. 13. Stir the apple cubes into the soft pumpkin mixture.
  14. 14. Add the pectin sugar.
  15. 15. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  16. 16. Continue to cook the jam for about 5 minutes.
  17. 17. Remove the cinnamon sticks from the jam.
  18. 18. Rinse Twist-Off jars with hot water.
  19. 19. Fill the hot jam immediately into the hot jars.
  20. 20. Seal the jars airtight.
  21. 21. Store the jam for up to 4 months.
