🍰 Fig Tart on Puff Pastry Base

Ingredients
- 8 figs
- 1 roll puff pastry (from the refrigerated section, 275 g)
- 100 g ground almond kernels
- 3 eggs
- 200 g whipping cream
- 50 g sugar
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the figs under running water.
- 2. Cut each fig in half lengthwise.
- 3. Grease the baking pan lightly with butter.
- 4. Place the puff pastry into the pan.
- 5. Press the dough so that it covers the bottom completely.
- 6. Pull the dough edge up to the top rim of the pan.
- 7. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius fan setting.
- 8. Put the almonds, eggs, cream, and sugar into a bowl.
- 9. Whisk the ingredients until you have a smooth mixture.
- 10. Spread the mixture evenly over the puff pastry base.
- 11. Place the figs on the mixture with the cut side facing up.
- 12. Bake the tart for about 35 minutes in the oven.
- 13. Check the doneness with a wooden skewer.
- 14. Remove the tart from the oven when the filling is set.
