  2. 2. Coarsely crush the spices and the pepper using the pestle.
  3. 3. Transfer the crushed spice mixture into a small bowl.
  4. 4. Add the oil and the vegetable broth to the bowl.
  5. 5. Stir the mixture well with a spoon until it is homogeneous.
  6. 6. Peel the garlic clove completely.
  7. 7. Place the peeled clove into a garlic press.
  8. 8. Press the garlic directly into the marinade.
