  1. 1. Peel the shallot and garlic and chop them very finely.
  2. 2. Wash the bell pepper and chili, remove the seeds and white inner membranes, and dice the vegetables into small pieces.
  3. 3. Wash the spring onions, trim them, and slice them into thin rings.
  4. 4. Heat the oil in a pan and sauté the shallots and garlic until translucent.
  5. 5. Briefly fry the bell pepper and chili cubes.
  6. 6. Remove the pan from the heat.
  7. 7. Stir in the spring onions, herbs, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and lemon juice.
  8. 8. Mix in the egg and mayonnaise.
  9. 9. Season the filling with salt and pepper.
  10. 10. Shred the crab meat and remove any shell fragments.
  11. 11. Fold the breadcrumb crumbs into the crab meat mixture.
  12. 12. Mix everything well so that the crumbs are evenly distributed.
  13. 13. Shape the mixture into about 8 to 10 small fritters.
  14. 14. Heat ghee (clarified butter) in a hot pan.
  15. 15. Fry the fritters slowly for approx. 8 minutes until golden brown on both sides.
  16. 16. Turn the fritters occasionally while frying.
  17. 17. Let the finished fritters drain on kitchen paper.
  18. 18. Serve the fritters with various dips or coleslaw.
