  5. 5. Let the dough rest at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
  6. 6. Lightly dust a work surface with flour.
  7. 7. Roll out the dough thinly on the floured surface.
  8. 8. Cut the dough into strips about 2 by 8 centimeters.
  9. 9. Place the noodles on the floured surface.
  10. 10. Let the noodles rest until further processing.
  11. 11. Remove the core from the white cabbage.
  12. 12. Wash the white cabbage.
  13. 13. Cut the white cabbage into thin strips.
  14. 14. Peel the onions.
  15. 15. Finely chop two of the onions.
  16. 16. Slice the remaining onions into thin strips.
  17. 17. Heat the butter in a large pot.
  18. 18. Sweat the chopped onions.
  19. 19. Sprinkle the onions with sugar.
