  2. 2. Shake the herbs dry.
  3. 3. Pluck the leaves off the stems.
  4. 4. Chop the herbs finely.
  5. 5. Wash the lemon thoroughly with hot water.
  6. 6. Grate the lemon zest finely.
  7. 7. Squeeze the juice from the lemon.
  8. 8. Peel the garlic.
  9. 9. Press the garlic directly into the butter.
  10. 10. Add the chopped herbs to the butter.
  11. 11. Add half a teaspoon of lemon zest.
  12. 12. Add two to three tablespoons of lemon juice.
  13. 13. Stir all ingredients well.
  14. 14. Season the butter with salt.
  15. 15. Season the butter with pepper.
  16. 16. Fill the butter into small jars.
  17. 17. Store the butter in the refrigerator.
