🍽️ Fresh Herb Butter

Ingredients
- 1 handful herbs (e.g. basil, chervil, parsley)
- 0.5 untreated lemon
- 2 garlic cloves
- 250 g soft butter
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- edible flowers (for serving, e.g. borage, daisies)
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the herbs under running water.
- 2. Shake the herbs dry.
- 3. Pluck the leaves off the stems.
- 4. Chop the herbs finely.
- 5. Wash the lemon thoroughly with hot water.
- 6. Grate the lemon zest finely.
- 7. Squeeze the juice from the lemon.
- 8. Peel the garlic.
- 9. Press the garlic directly into the butter.
- 10. Add the chopped herbs to the butter.
- 11. Add half a teaspoon of lemon zest.
- 12. Add two to three tablespoons of lemon juice.
- 13. Stir all ingredients well.
- 14. Season the butter with salt.
- 15. Season the butter with pepper.
- 16. Fill the butter into small jars.
- 17. Store the butter in the refrigerator.
- 18. Serve the butter garnished with edible flowers as desired.
