🍽️ Aromatic Herb Bread

Ingredients
- 750 g flour
- 1 cube yeast
- 300 ml lukewarm water
- salt
- sugar
- 6 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 50 g parmesan
- 1 bunch parsley
- 0.5 bunch thyme
- 0.5 bunch rosemary
Instructions
- 1. Pour the flour into a large bowl.
- 2. Make a well in the center of the flour.
- 3. Crumble the yeast into the well.
- 4. Add a pinch of sugar.
- 5. Stir everything with a little lukewarm water until smooth.
- 6. Cover the bowl with a cloth.
- 7. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 20 minutes.
- 8. Pick the herbs off the stems.
- 9. Chop the herbs finely.
- 10. Grate the Parmesan cheese.
- 11. Brush a loaf pan with olive oil.
- 12. Add the chopped herbs to the bowl with the pre-dough.
- 13. Add the remaining olive oil.
- 14. Add salt and baking soda.
- 15. Add the grated Parmesan cheese.
- 16. Add the rest of the lukewarm water.
- 17. Knead everything well into the pre-dough.
- 18. Work the dough until it is firm.
- 19. Make sure the dough no longer sticks to your hands.
- 20. Cover the finished dough.
- 21. Let the dough rise for 1 hour.
- 22. Sprinkle some flour on a work surface.
- 23. Knead the risen dough briefly.
- 24. Shape the dough into a loaf.
- 25. Place the dough in the greased loaf pan.
- 26. Cover the dough.
- 27. Let the dough rise again for 15 minutes.
- 28. Make a long slit in the top with a sharp knife.
- 29. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
- 30. Bake the bread for about 50 minutes.
