🍝 Herb Lasagna

Ingredients
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 carrot
- 2 stalks celery
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 400 g mixed minced meat
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 50 ml red wine
- 400 g peeled tomatoes (can)
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 20 g butter
- 1 tbsp flour
- 400 ml milk
- salt
- white pepper
- 12 lasagna sheets
- 1 ball mozzarella (125 g)
- 2 tbsp freshly grated parmesan
- 1 tbsp butter flakes
- basil (for garnish)
Instructions
- 1. Wash, peel, and prepare the onion, garlic, carrot, and celery.
- 2. Cut the vegetables into fine cubes.
- 3. Heat oil in a pan.
- 4. Sauté the onions and garlic in the hot oil until translucent.
- 5. Add the minced meat.
- 6. Fry the meat until crumbly.
- 7. Add the rest of the vegetables to the pan.
- 8. Cook the vegetables briefly.
- 9. Stir in the tomato paste.
- 10. Deglaze everything with red wine.
- 11. Add the tomatoes to the sauce.
- 12. Let the sauce simmer for about 15 minutes until slightly thickened.
- 13. Stir occasionally while simmering.
- 14. Season the sauce with salt and pepper.
- 15. Melt the butter in a small saucepan.
- 16. Stir the flour into the butter.
- 17. Gradually add the milk.
- 18. Stir constantly to avoid lumps.
- 19. Simmer the sauce for a few minutes until it thickens.
- 20. Season the sauce with salt and pepper.
- 21. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
- 22. Use the top and bottom heat setting.
- 23. Spread a little meat sauce on the bottom of the baking dish (approx. 18x25 cm).
- 24. Place 3 lasagna sheets on the sauce.
- 25. Spread some béchamel sauce over the pasta sheets.
- 26. Repeat the layering process until all ingredients are used up.
- 27. Finish with the remaining béchamel sauce.
- 28. Slice the mozzarella.
- 29. Place the mozzarella slices on the lasagna.
- 30. Sprinkle Parmesan over the top.
- 31. Decorate the surface with butter flakes.
- 32. Bake the lasagna in the oven for approx. 40 minutes until golden brown.
- 33. Remove the lasagna from the oven.
- 34. Cut it into pieces.
- 35. Serve garnished with fresh basil.
