🍽️ Crunchy Herb Crostini with Fresh Avocado

Ingredients
- 8 slices country bread
- 1 clove garlic
- 0.5 bunch parsley (use the leaves)
- 0.5 bunch basil (use the leaves)
- 5 tbsp olive oil
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 2 avocados
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
- 1. Preheat your oven to the highest setting.
- 2. Place the bread slices flat on a baking sheet.
- 3. Toast the bread in the hot oven until it is golden brown and crunchy.
- 4. Put the herbs into a blender or a small bowl.
- 5. Add the olive oil, salt, and pepper to the herbs.
- 6. Blend the mixture until it is smooth and creamy.
- 7. Peel the avocados and carefully remove the skin.
- 8. Cut the avocados in half and remove the pit.
- 9. Dice the avocado flesh into small cubes.
- 10. Drizzle some lemon juice over the avocado cubes.
- 11. Spread the herb puree evenly over the toasted bread slices.
- 12. Distribute the avocado cubes loosely over the puree.
- 13. Add a little more fresh pepper on top.
- 14. Serve the crostini immediately and enjoy.
