  1. 1. Rinse the lamb chops under cold water and pat them completely dry with kitchen paper.
  2. 2. Peel the garlic cloves and mash them into a fine paste with a pinch of salt.
  3. 3. Mix the yoghurt, grated ginger, lemon juice, curry powder, and pepper in a bowl.
  4. 4. Add the garlic paste to the yoghurt mixture and stir everything well.
  5. 5. Place the chops in the marinade and turn them so that every piece is well coated on all sides.
  6. 6. Cover the bowl and place it in the refrigerator for at least two hours to allow the meat to absorb the flavors.
  7. 7. Remove the chops from the marinade, let the excess liquid drip off, and scrape off any remaining marinade from the meat.
  8. 8. Now season the chops with a little salt.
  9. 9. Preheat your grill or the oven with the grill function.
  10. 10. Place the chops on the hot grill grate.
  11. 11. Grill the chops on each side for 6 to 10 minutes, depending on the thickness of the meat.
  12. 12. Turn the chops occasionally while grilling so they cook evenly.
  13. 13. Serve the finished chops on a bed of fresh rocket (arugula).
  14. 14. Serve the dish with an extra portion of plain yoghurt on the side.
