  1. 1. Pick the basil leaves off the stems.
  2. 2. Put the basil leaves, the peeled garlic, the pine nuts and the olive oil into a blender.
  3. 3. Blend the ingredients finely until a creamy paste forms.
  4. 4. Season the pesto with salt, pepper and a splash of lemon juice.
  5. 5. Wash the rocket and remove any wilted greens.
  6. 6. Distribute the rocket onto the plates.
  7. 7. Wash the lamb chops and pat them dry with a kitchen towel.
  8. 8. Season the chops with salt and pepper.
  9. 9. Heat oil in a frying pan.
  10. 10. Fry the chops in the hot oil for about 2 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  11. 11. Place the finished chops on the rocket salad.
  12. 12. Spread the pesto over the chops and serve.
