🍽️ Tandoori Chops with Yoghurt Marinade

Ingredients
- 1 small onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tsp paprika powder (mild sweet)
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp ground cumin (Cumin)
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 150 ml yogurt
- 1 tbsp tomato puree
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 4 pork chops (approx. 175 g each)
Instructions
- 1. Peel the onion and the garlic.
- 2. Finely chop the onion and the garlic.
- 3. Mix the chopped onion and garlic with the spices and tomato paste.
- 4. Stir the yoghurt into the spice mixture.
- 5. Lightly grease a baking dish.
- 6. Place the chops in the prepared dish.
- 7. Pour the Tandoori sauce evenly over the chops.
- 8. Cover the dish.
- 9. Marinate the chops in the refrigerator for approx. 3 hours.
- 10. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
- 11. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven.
- 12. Bake the chops for approx. 40 minutes.
- 13. Turn the chops once halfway through the baking time.
- 14. Cover the chops with the sauce repeatedly while baking.
- 15. Serve the finished chops immediately.
- 16. Garnish the dish with sautéed pepper rings and herb rice.
