🍽️ Pork chops with leek rings and apple slices

Ingredients
- 2 stalks Leek (smaller)
- 1 Boskop Apple
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 400 g Pork Cutlet (2 Pork Cutlets)
- Salt
- Pepper (from the mill)
- Paprika Powder (mild sweet)
- 0.5 tsp Thyme (dried)
- 2 tbsp Crème fraîche
Instructions
- 1. Wash the leek thoroughly.
- 2. Remove the tough ends and green leafy parts from the leek.
- 3. Cut the leek into wide rings.
- 4. Wash the apple.
- 5. Cut the apple into four quarters.
- 6. Remove the core from the apple quarters.
- 7. Cut the cored apple pieces into thin slices.
- 8. Salt the pork chops.
- 9. Pepper the pork chops.
- 10. Heat oil in a frying pan.
- 11. Fry the pork chops in the hot oil for a short time on both sides until well browned.
- 12. Add the leek rings and apple slices to the pan.
- 13. Season everything with salt.
- 14. Season everything with pepper.
- 15. Season everything with paprika powder.
- 16. Season everything with thyme.
- 17. Let everything simmer for about 5 minutes.
- 18. If necessary, add a little water.
- 19. Plate the pork chops.
- 20. Serve the apple and leek vegetable mixture with the pork chops.
- 21. Add a dollop of crème fraîche to each serving.
