🍽️ Fresh Coriander Chili Dip

Ingredients
- 4 red chili peppers
- 2 garlic cloves
- 50 ml mild white wine vinegar
- 50 g honey
- Lemon juice (to taste)
- 0.5 bunch cilantro
Instructions
- 1. Thoroughly wash the chili peppers under running water.
- 2. Remove the stems and the inside of the chili peppers.
- 3. Finely chop the deseeded chili peppers.
- 4. Peel the garlic cloves of their skin.
- 5. Finely chop the garlic as well.
- 6. Place the chopped chili and garlic into a pot.
- 7. Pour the vinegar into the pot.
- 8. Add the honey.
- 9. Pour about 200 milliliters of water into the mixture.
- 10. Bring the mixture to a boil on the stove.
- 11. Reduce the heat to a low setting.
- 12. Let the sauce simmer on low heat.
- 13. Stir the sauce occasionally.
- 14. Let the sauce reduce for about 40 minutes.
- 15. The sauce is ready when it has become thick.
- 16. Squeeze lemon juice into the finished sauce.
- 17. Finally, adjust the seasoning of the sauce with the lemon juice.
- 18. Wash the fresh coriander under cold water.
- 19. Shake the coriander dry to remove excess water.
- 20. Pluck the small coriander leaves from the stems.
- 21. Finely chop the coriander leaves.
- 22. Fold the chopped coriander leaves into the sauce.
- 23. Place the sauce into small bowls.
- 24. Serve the sauce.
