  1. 1. Break the lettuce heads into bite-sized pieces.
  2. 2. Wash the lettuce thoroughly under running water.
  3. 3. Remove any wilted or damaged leaves.
  4. 4. Dry the lettuce in a salad spinner or with a kitchen towel.
  5. 5. Wash the radishes under running water.
  6. 6. Cut off the green stems and root ends of the radishes.
  7. 7. Halve the radishes in the middle.
  8. 8. Add vinegar, lemon juice, syrup, salt, and pepper to a small bowl.
  9. 9. Whisk the ingredients with a whisk until well combined.
  10. 10. Stir the oil slowly into the dressing mixture.
  11. 11. Place the dried lettuce and radishes into a large bowl.
  12. 12. Pour the dressing over the salad.
  13. 13. Toss the salad until all ingredients are evenly coated.
  14. 14. Portion the salad into small bowls.
  15. 15. Sprinkle walnuts over the plated salads.
