🍽️ Fresh Head Lettuce Salad with Radishes

Ingredients
- 1 head lettuce
- 1 bunch radishes
- 6 tbsp walnut kernels (coarsely chopped)
- salt
- pepper (from a mill)
- 2 tbsp white wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 0.5 lemon (zest)
- 1 tsp maple syrup
- 4 tbsp walnut oil
- 1 sprout
Instructions
- 1. Break the lettuce heads into bite-sized pieces.
- 2. Wash the lettuce thoroughly under running water.
- 3. Remove any wilted or damaged leaves.
- 4. Dry the lettuce in a salad spinner or with a kitchen towel.
- 5. Wash the radishes under running water.
- 6. Cut off the green stems and root ends of the radishes.
- 7. Halve the radishes in the middle.
- 8. Add vinegar, lemon juice, syrup, salt, and pepper to a small bowl.
- 9. Whisk the ingredients with a whisk until well combined.
- 10. Stir the oil slowly into the dressing mixture.
- 11. Place the dried lettuce and radishes into a large bowl.
- 12. Pour the dressing over the salad.
- 13. Toss the salad until all ingredients are evenly coated.
- 14. Portion the salad into small bowls.
- 15. Sprinkle walnuts over the plated salads.
- 16. Add fresh sprouts as a topping.
- 17. Grate fresh lemon zest over the top.
- 18. Serve the salad with fresh baguette.
