Ingredients
- 125 g blackcurrants
- 1 sprig peppermint
- 2 tsp sugar
Instructions
- 1. Remove the stems and any unripe parts from the blackcurrants.
- 2. Place the cleaned berries and the peppermint into a pot.
- 3. Pour in two tablespoons of water.
- 4. Place the pot on the stove and cover it with a lid.
- 5. Cook the berries gently over low heat until they are soft.
- 6. Remove the pot from the heat.
- 7. Sprinkle the compote with sugar to taste.
