  1. 1. Melt the butter in a bowl.
  2. 2. Stir the powdered sugar into the warm butter until the mixture is creamy and fluffy.
  3. 3. Add the rum and mix it thoroughly with the butter-sugar mixture.
  4. 4. Add half of the coconut flakes to the bowl and stir them in.
  5. 5. Add the remaining coconut flakes gradually.
  6. 6. Keep stirring until you get a firm mass that you can shape easily.
  7. 7. Place the bowl in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to let the mixture cool down.
  8. 8. Take the bowl out and quickly form small balls from the mixture.
  9. 9. Mix the remaining coconut flakes with the candied orange peel in a shallow dish.
  10. 10. Roll each ball in the coconut-orange peel mixture until they are completely covered.
