  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius conventional heat (160 degrees Celsius fan-forced or gas level 2 to 3).
  2. 2. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
  3. 3. Place quark, 400 grams of flour, apple puree, 2 tablespoons of honey, a pinch of salt, some milk, oil, eggs, and baking powder into a large bowl.
  4. 4. Work all ingredients into a smooth dough.
  5. 5. Spread the dough out on the prepared baking tray.
  6. 6. Press a small rim up along the edges of the dough.
  7. 7. Spread the breadcrumbs evenly over the bottom of the dough.
  8. 8. Wash the plums thoroughly under running water.
  9. 9. Halve the plums and remove the pits.
  10. 10. Cut the plum halves into wedges.
  11. 11. Mix the plum wedges with the remaining honey and cinnamon.
  12. 12. Arrange the plum wedges in an overlapping shingle pattern on the dough base.
  13. 13. Place the remaining flour, coconut blossom sugar, coconut flakes, and butter into a small bowl.
  14. 14. Work the ingredients into a crumbly streusel dough.
  15. 15. Rub the dough between your hands to form small crumbs.
  16. 16. Distribute the crumbs evenly over the cake.
  17. 17. Bake the cake in the preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes until golden brown.
  18. 18. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool down completely.
  19. 19. Cut the cooled cake into strips.
  20. 20. Serve the cake strips with whipped cream as desired.
