  2. 2. Spin the chard dry and slice the greens into thin strips.
  3. 3. Peel the onion and the garlic.
  4. 4. Dice the onion and garlic into small cubes.
  5. 5. Wash the chili pepper and cut it in half lengthwise.
  6. 6. Remove the seeds from the chili and finely chop the flesh.
  7. 7. Heat the butter in a large pot.
  8. 8. Add the onions, garlic, and chili to the pot.
  9. 9. Sauté the vegetables over medium heat until they are translucent and soft.
  10. 10. Add the chopped chard to the pot.
  11. 11. Deglaze the mixture with the vegetable broth and coconut milk.
  12. 12. Stir the cream into the soup.
  13. 13. Let the soup simmer over medium heat for about 10 minutes.
  14. 14. Season the soup with salt, cayenne pepper, curry powder, and a splash of lemon juice.
  15. 15. Taste the soup and adjust the seasoning if necessary.
