  1. 1. Peel the onion and cut it into small cubes.
  2. 2. Clean the kohlrabi, remove the tough skin, and slice it into rounds.
  3. 3. Cut the kohlrabi slices further into thin strips.
  4. 4. Wash the parsley and dill and shake off excess water.
  5. 5. Pick off the parsley leaves and dill tips and chop them finely.
  6. 6. Heat the oil in a pot.
  7. 7. Sauté the onion cubes over medium heat for 2 minutes.
  8. 8. Add the kohlrabi strips and cook them along with the onions for another 3 minutes.
  9. 9. Deglaze the vegetables with the broth.
  10. 10. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  11. 11. Reduce the heat to low to medium.
  12. 12. Simmer the vegetables covered for 10 to 15 minutes.
  13. 13. Stir the crème fraîche into the vegetables.
  14. 14. Season the mixture with salt, pepper, freshly grated nutmeg, and lemon juice.
  15. 15. Mix the cornstarch with a small amount of cold water to form a smooth paste.
  16. 16. Add the cornstarch paste to the kohlrabi mixture.
  17. 17. Bring the sauce to a boil again while stirring constantly until it thickens.
  18. 18. Transfer the finished dish into a pre-warmed serving bowl.
  19. 19. Sprinkle the dish with the chopped herbs and serve.
