🍽️ Grilled Meat Skewers with Creamy Sesame Sauce and Fresh Tomato Salad

Ingredients
- 1 shallot
- 2 garlic cloves
- 6 sprigs parsley
- 4 sprigs mint
- 600 g ground beef
- 1 pinch allspice powder
- 1 pinch cinnamon
- salt
- pepper
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 100 g tahini (sesame paste)
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- ground cumin
- 200 g cherry tomatoes
- 1 lemon
Instructions
- 1. Peel the shallot and the garlic.
- 2. Dice both ingredients very finely.
- 3. Rinse the herbs under running water.
- 4. Shake off the excess water from the herbs.
- 5. Set aside a few fresh mint leaves for garnish.
- 6. Roughly chop the remaining herbs.
- 7. Add the chopped herbs, shallot, garlic, minced meat, allspice, cinnamon, salt, and pepper to a bowl.
- 8. Knead the ingredients vigorously.
- 9. Form eight equal-sized balls from the mixture.
- 10. Thread the meatballs onto wooden skewers.
- 11. Heat two tablespoons of oil in a frying pan.
- 12. Fry the meat skewers over medium heat for about ten minutes.
- 13. Turn the skewers repeatedly until they are golden brown on all sides.
- 14. Whisk the tahini (sesame paste) with one tablespoon of lemon juice.
- 15. Gradually add a little cold water.
- 16. Stir until a creamy sauce forms.
- 17. Season the sauce with cumin, salt, and pepper.
- 18. Remove the tough stems from the tomatoes.
- 19. Wash the tomatoes.
- 20. Cut the tomatoes into quarters.
- 21. Place the tomato pieces in a bowl.
- 22. Add the remaining oil and lemon juice.
- 23. Season the salad with salt and pepper.
- 24. Rinse a lemon under hot water.
- 25. Pat the lemon dry.
- 26. Cut the lemon into wedges.
- 27. Spoon the tahini sauce onto the plates.
- 28. Place the skewers on top of the sauce.
- 29. Distribute the tomato salad over the skewers.
- 30. Sprinkle everything with the remaining mint leaves.
- 31. Serve the skewers with the lemon wedges.
