🍽️ Crispy Chicken Drumsticks

Ingredients
- 8 chicken drumsticks
- 100 g flour
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 600 ml oil (for frying)
- 1 egg
- 120 g crème fraîche
- 1 tbsp dill
- 1 tomato
- 1 tbsp white wine vinegar
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the chicken drumsticks under cold running water.
- 2. Pat the drumsticks completely dry with kitchen paper.
- 3. Whisk the eggs in a shallow bowl.
- 4. Add the lemon juice and flour to the egg mixture.
- 5. Stir everything with a fork or whisk until you have a smooth, thick batter.
- 6. Adjust the consistency if necessary by adding a little more water or flour.
- 7. Season the batter generously with salt and pepper.
- 8. Dip each chicken drumstick completely into the batter.
- 9. Heat oil in a frying pan to approximately 170 degrees Celsius.
- 10. Fry the breaded drumsticks in the hot oil for 5 to 6 minutes.
- 11. Remove the drumsticks from the oil when they are golden brown and crispy.
- 12. Peel the boiled egg for the dip.
- 13. Finely chop the egg.
- 14. Quarter the tomato and remove the seeds.
- 15. Dice the tomato finely.
- 16. Mix the chopped egg and diced tomatoes with dill, crème fraîche, and vinegar.
- 17. Finally, season the dip to taste with salt and pepper.
- 18. Serve the dip alongside the crispy chicken drumsticks.
